Originally established in 1937 and incorporated in 1950 as Redfern Sea-Air Tours Ltd, we changed our name to Redfern Travel Ltd in 1969. Throughout this time, Redfern Travel has been recognised for the quality of the service we have delivered to our clients in the ever-changing world of travel and travel management.

Bonding Information

ATOL


The air holidays and flights sold by Redfern Travel are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Where we act as agents for licensed tour operators the relevant ATOL number is displayed with each holiday shown. The flight bookings we make are also ATOL Protected, except when tickets for scheduled flights are sent to you within 24 hours of payment being accepted, or where your payment is made direct to airlines. Where an air holiday or flight does not state that we are acting as an agent, we are acting in our own capacity as an ATOL holder. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom. Our ATOL number is 3700.


ABTA


Redfern Travel is a member of both the Retail and the Tour Operators sections of the Association of British Travel Agents. ABTA membership requires bonding which protects your funds when you buy non-air packages through us. Our ABTA numbers are 51341 and 51375.


IATA


Redfern Travel is a fully licensed member of IATA, the International Air Travel Association, which requires us to meet strict financial, security and training criteria, which are reviewed ion an annual basis. Our IATA numbers are 91242535 and 91270432.


ATOC


Redfern Travel is a member of ATOC, the Association of Train Operating Companies, and all our consultants are fully ATOC qualified.

Redfern Travel is a member of Advantage Travel Centres, and a founder member of the Advantage’s business travel group Focus Group, now called the Focus Partnership. The commercial muscle and buying power that membership of Advantage and Focus provides, ensures that Redfern’s clients benefit from the best fares and rates from all the industry’s major airlines hotels groups and other travel providers.

Redfern Travel holds ISO 9001:2000 certification which specifies requirements for a Quality Management System for any organisation that needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction. Moody International is a world-wide, multi-accredited, quality organisation providing professional assessment and certification registration services of Quality Management Systems to the internationally renowned ISO Quality Standard.
